A Strictly High Grown coffee from Chiapas, one of the two southern states bordering Guatemala, Custepec is the premium shade-grown coffee bean produced on Finca Custepec. Grown at approximately 4,900 feet in elevation, the main harvest is December through April. A Medium-bodied, very clean coffee with an acidity reminiscent of dry white wines, Custepec has a hint of nuttiness followed by a slight woodiness in the finish. This coffee is considered extremely versatile in terms of taking different degrees of roast, and can be considered an all-purpose coffee.
